Planting plan with mature look.  Privacy along sides of home. Frame view to the water.  Focal point in front of horse shoe driveway and front of home.

tellUs Project Proposal

The main focus of the project was on the development of a planting plan that enhanced the view of the home from the street.  The homeowners wanted the main bed in front of the driveway to be full of color.  In order to anchor the edges of the property masses of palms were placed on either side of the driveway, this also helped frame the view of the front of the home.  A different variety of palms were used at the major corners of the home to accent the architecture.

A side yard was created for the homeowner's dogs which required a privacy hedge.  The rear of the site has direct access to the water and therefore views were to be maintained.  Two masses of existing trees were preserved. Sets of palms were located at the corners of the backyard for screening from the neighbor's yards and to help frame the view to the water.
