Project Description
Client Needs
Six landscape packages to be created for new homeowners to choose from based on home type purchased. Six additional enhanced packages to be created offered as optional upgraded landscape plans.
tellUs Project Proposal
Each lot is to have a place for sod in the front portion of the lot with large oaks planted in the common way between the street and sidewalk. This will create an ongoing streetscape of large shade trees as the development matures. As the lots are very close together particular attention was paid to how the landscape plans fit together regardless of which home or package a homeowner may choose. Alternating locations of larger shrubs and trees maintains an area to walk through each side yard and also creates privacy with views of vegetation to each residence. More intimately planted front entryways were maintained in each plan to create interest at the front of the home. Larger species for screening at the entryways and corners of the homes lend to the privacy sought after when lot lines are pinned closely together.
The Finished Product
A set of landscape packages with options to suit a variety of homeowners desires and initial landscape budgets was created.
